HeatinGlobal get Doncaster church warmed up for Christmas

The Rev Steven Gardner of All Saints Church in Quarry Lane, Doncaster contacted HeatinGlobal after having the current church boiler shut off by a local gas engineer. The boiler was beyond repair and did require changing, however the previous engineer did try to advise the church that the rest of the system would require changing as any new boiler could not be installed on the old church system.

HeatinGlobal director Damien Bradbury takes up the story: "After sending out one of our own engineers and looking at the system as a whole it was clear that most of the suggestions that had been put to the church were not required and some basic up grades in the boiler room was all that was needed. The old church boiler was stripped down and taken away.

"The old boiler was recycled and the £320 received was put back into church funds. Once the church boiler room was clear we began the task of installing two new wall hung condensing boilers and connecting them onto a new low loss header, complete with plate to plate heat exchangers and filter systems.

"The current church pump was also replaced to increase warm up times. The old timer and thermostat control were changed for a new Tado control which now allows Rev Gardner to control the whole heating system from his smart phone or tablet.

"The job was completed in just 5 days and even the 1.5m thick stone walls were drilled by our specialist drilling equipment. The church heating system was chemically cleaned and temperatures now reach 20 degrees for the first time - and all within 3 hours from a cold setting. The new church heating system will now provide warm and comfortable conditions for the busy Christmas period when the heating will be needed most."

Rev Steven Gardner was delighted with the new system, saying: “I cannot say how overwhelmed I am at the hours your guys have put in this week. For the first time in the church's history we had to turn the heating down as it actually got too warm! And the greatest advantage is that I can do everything from the comfort of my own home. Thank you to everyone involved.”
