Patrick Bowen BA (Hons) Lond., MRICS has worked in Fine Art and Antiques since graduating from the University of London. He has worked as a senior valuer for Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers and Bonhams Auctioneers. Based initially in London he moved to Australia where he was instrumental in establishing Phillips' thriving network 'Downunder'.

He has undertaken many prestigious valuations in the U.K. and abroad and has been responsible for the successful sale of numerous important Fine Art items ranging from large art collections to fine jewels. His clients include private households, large ecclesiastical institutions, museums and local authorities.

Patrick has an excellent general knowledge of all areas of Fine Art and Antiques. He has presented courses on Antiques and Decorative Arts and is actively involved in promoting Adult Education in these areas. He has lectured extensively and established a loyal following in a talkback radio programme on which he became renowned for his depth of knowledge coupled with a humorous presentation.
