Hargreaves Foundry have supplied a huge guttering order to help the conservation of the Grade I listed Piece Hall in Halifax. Hargreaves were able to supply replacements from their standard products and fittings portfolio because their H16 moulded gutters and 100mm round rainwater pipes were perfectly in keeping with the building. Hargreaves painted the gutters a specific sand colour ordered by the Council's Building Consultancy Department to match the Yorkshire stone of the Hall.
The Piece Hall is a vast building, originally of over 300 rooms, and the guttering order was correspondingly large. More than 380 gutter lengths, 110 rainwater pipe lengths and fittings were delivered to West End Builders on site for fitting. Hargreaves were able to deliver the entire job, fully painted and on time. |
