Introduction to Heritage craft courses
Our 'Introduction to Heritage’ craft courses are aimed at developing the specialist skills of apprentices, currently working towards their Level 2 or 3 qualifications. These will be delivered as evening ‘top-up’ sessions over 10 weeks, while apprentices are studying their mainstream courses.

Heritage Skills NVQ L3

Heritage Skills NVQ L3 in the chosen specialisms of Joinery, Bricklaying and Masonry, Plastering, Site Management and Ground Work, assessed at the learners workplace. From our experience, these take an average of 8 months for a learner to complete, dependent upon their experience and ability to evidence skills within the workplace.

Specialist Niche Heritage Training
Longer specialist courses (where possible accredited by Ascentis, formerly OCNW, at L2) in  Blacksmithing, Wood Carving, Heritage Plastering, Heritage Joinery (window, doors and skirting), Dry Stone Walling, Stone Masonry and Stained Glass, for construction workers to diversify and increase skills. These would be delivered as 20 week evening courses to allow twilight learning for professionals.
